Compress & convert.

JPEG, PNG and WebP. Targets are best effort.

Image compressor

Compress toward a size.

We show the closest result if the target cannot be met.

Outputs are newly encoded images, so metadata is not copied. Transparent PNGs converted to JPEG use a white background.

Your downloads will appear here.

On a phone, tap Download, then choose Save to Files or your preferred share destination.

How this preview handles files

The useful work happens in your browser.

01

Select

Choose files from your device. The page has no file-upload form or conversion API.

02

Process

Your browser creates a new image or PDF locally. Exact support depends on the browser’s image codecs.

03

Download

Download the generated file, then reset when you are ready for the next task.

Practical help

Questions before you start?

Will the target-size image tool always hit my exact number?

No. It chooses the best result it can make in this browser. If a target cannot be reached, it shows the closest result and how far above the target it is.

Why does the output sometimes look different?

JPEG and WebP use lossy encoding. A smaller target generally needs more compression. PNG output preserves a different kind of image data and may be larger for photographs.

Where does a phone download go?

After tapping Download, use the system download or share panel. On iPhone, Safari may open a preview first; use Share, then Save to Files. Android browsers typically place it in Downloads.

What is not in this first version?

There is no generic PDF compression, OCR, cloud storage, account, social-media downloading, or scraping. Those are not silently simulated here.
